Freak April snowstorm

Hey, God, it's supposed to be "April showers bring May flowers"! Nevertheless, this is the scene we woke up to here in the Taconics this morning .... very discouraging for those of us who are longing for warm temps, sunny blue skies, and delicate daffodil heads poking up through the turf!

And then the darnedest thing happened ... found this headless dog on my front lawn ...

Gotta go! I hear the dulcet tones of the snowplow churning up our road. Rescued at last!
